On a frigid, snow-bejeweled day in the mountains, while I was photographing these beautiful ponderosa pines, a few wayward elk had the unmitigated gall to wander right into the scene just as I found the perfect composition. Clueless! :-)

The image was made using a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV digital body, a Zeiss Milvus 35mm f/1.4 ZE lens, at f/6.3 for 1/320 second at 100 ISO.
The raw image file was processed using Adobe Lightroom, Nik Color Efex Pro 4, and Topaz Labs' Studio.
