Up here at the Continental Divide, this Colorado gem can go from mild to wild in a New York minute. In fact, despite its name - or perhaps because of it - this high alpine lake is rarely this calm.

Based in Colorado Springs, Colorado USA, I'm a nature and landscape photographer primarily focused on the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Eric, This is the first chance I've had to really look at your page. You really capture the spiritual quality of the land and lakes. You get to the essence of it all. The Glass Lake reminds me of a piece of music by the late Czech composer, Novak called In The Tatras. This is a mountain range in the Czech Republic. I look forward to seeing more. Ira Shander
